Scenario:    While out getting ice cream with your child, you are
             confronted by a parolee looking for an easy mark.

Procedure:   Begin facing child with max. 6 rounds, ice cream cone in
             strong hand.  At the beep, move between NT and T1, engage T1
             with 5 shots to the body and 1 to the head one-hand only
             while guarding the NT with your other hand.

Scoring:     11 shots Vickers, on 3 IDPA targets and 2 steel poppers;

Scenario:    Five robbers on a crime spree approach you at a car wash.
             Three are determined to carjack you; the other 2 flee when
             you shoot near them.

Type:        medium; low-cover Armed Citizen
Procedure:   Begin with max. 6 rounds loaded.  At the beep, take cover and
             fire 3 shots each on T1-T3, engaging PP1 and PP2 until they
             drop, all in tactical priority.  (The steel represents the 2
             less-than-determined carjackers.)
