Name:        Not Another Heist
Scoring:     18 shots Vickers, on 4 IDPA targets
Scenario:    You're awoken from your sleep at your parents' townhouse,
             which was burglarized four months earlier.  You grab a
             handgun and go to investigate.  You find your dad knocked
             out and bend down to help him -- when the first of the 4
             burglars comes at you.

Type:        long; house-clearing Armed Citizen
Procedure:   Pistol in weak hand at low-ready downrange but spare 
             mags/loaders with max. 6 rounds each: On signal, engage
             T1 weak-hand only with 3 shots.  Then engage T2-T4 each
             with 4 shots to the body and 1 to the head freestyle.
Props:       facade; 4ft T1-shirt, 6ft T2, NT, 5ft T3-left, 5ft T4-right;
             double barrel

Name:        Arkansas Choir
Scoring:     12 shots Vickers, on 4 IDPA targets
Scenario:    You and your spouse are getting into your truck after choir
             practice -- only to find yourselves in the middle of a
             gang-initiation carjacking.

Type:        medium; vehicle cover, 7--20 yds, Armed Citizen
Procedure:   Begin with loaded pistol and spare ammo in IDPA box.
             On signal, retrieve pistol; spare ammo goes in pockets or can
             remain in box until needed.  Using the truck as cover, engage
             T1 with 3 head shots; then engage T2-T4 with 3 shots each.
Props:       mini-truck, box on seat; 5ft T1, ~4ft T2, T3, T4; 2 barrels

Scoring:     12 shots Limited, on 2 IDPA targets
Scenario:    (drill: "Don't sacrifice accuracy for speed.  Keep pushing yourself
             until you're just able to hold 75% of your shots in the 0-ring.")

Type:        medium/long; 15-yd standard
Procedure:   String 1: Fire 1 round each on T1-T2.
             String 2: Fire 2 rounds each on T1-T2.
             String 3: Fire 3 rounds each on T1-T2.

Name:        Midnight Knock
Scoring:     6 shots Vickers, on 2 IDPA targets; concealment optional
Scenario:    You hear an unexpected, midnight-hour knock at your door
             and cautiously answer it, armed with a handgun.  You find
             one assailant with a shotgun and another with a baseball bat.
Designer:    S Tod
Type:        short; up-close mover, Armed Citizen
Procedure:   Begin in front of T1; all shots while retreating quickly: On
             signal, draw and fire 3 rounds on T1; continue retreating as
             you go past the double barrel; then fire 3 rounds on T2.
Props:       4ft T1, 5ft T2; double barrel; yard-line

Name:        Living Nightmare
Scoring:     6 shots Vickers, on 1 IDPA target
Scenario:    A burglar breaks into your home.  You and your spouse are in
             a violent struggle to get the invader to leave.  You are injured
             in the fight but break free and retrieve your pistol.

Type:        short; one-handed moving Armed Citizen
Procedure:   Begin with pistol at low ready, one-hand only:  On signal,
             advance and engage T1 with 6 shots.
Props:       5ft T1-shirt; yard-line

Name:        El Variation
Scoring:     10 shots Limited, on 2 IDPA targets
Scenario:    (drill)

Type:        medium; 10-yd reload exercise
Procedure:   Begin facing uprange.  On signal, turn, draw, fire 5 shots on T1;
             perform a regulation reload, then fire 5 shots on T2.

Scenario:    A burglar enters your home through an unlocked door.  Your
             spouse discovers the intruder and alerts you.  Armed, you
             confront the intruder, who advances toward you.
Designer:    S Tod
Type:        short; Armed Citizen
Procedure:   Begin with pistol at low ready.  On signal, engage the threat
             with 6 shots (2 each on T1-T3, far to near).
Props:       6-5-4 at 10-9-8; yard-line

Name:        Wheelchair Bound
Scoring:     9 shots Vickers, on 3 IDPA targets; concealment optional
Scenario:    While you're recuperating from a car accident, 3 attackers
             mistake you for an easy mark.  They don't know you're
             returning from the gun range; you don't know your pistol
             isn't topped off.
Designer:    S Tod
Type:        medium; seated Armed Citizen
Procedure:   Begin seated with hands on sides (wheels) and max. 6 rounds
             in pistol.  On signal, remain seated: draw strong-hand only
             and engage T1-T3 with 2 shots each.  Reload and re-engage
             T1-T3 with 1 head shot each freestyle (and still seated).
Props:       6-5-4 at 10-9-8; chair
