Scenario:    As an air marshal, you must confront 2 hijackers.

Type:        short/medium, V3, 10-yd seated drill
Procedure:   Begin each string seated.  On signal, fire 2 rounds each on
             T1-T2, in tactical sequence:
             String 1: While seated.
             String 2: While standing.
Props:       5(shirt)-5 arrangement at 11-10 yards; double-barrel, chair/stool

Name:        Dinner and a Crowbar
Scoring:     6 shots Vickers, on 2 IDPA targets; concealment required
Scenario:    Armed Citizen: You are having dinner with 2 friends -- and 2
             uninvited robbers.  One has a crowbar, and the other grabs a
             decorative sword off the wall -- and slices your arm with it.
             Your friends flee.
Designer:    S Tod
Type:        short, V3.5, combat exercise
Procedure:   Seated at table; on signal one hand only fire 2 shots to the
             body and 1 to the head of each T1-T2 (seated or standing), in
             tactical sequence.
Props:       5(shirt)-5 arrangement at 4-5 yards; table, chair/stool

Scoring:     12 shots Limited, on 2 IDPA targets
Scenario:    (drill: "Don't sacrifice accuracy for speed.  Keep pushing yourself
             until you're just able to hold 75% of your shots in the 0-ring.")

Type:        medium/long, V3.5, 7-yd standard
Procedure:   Begin each string facing uprange.  On signal, turn and draw,
             then:
             String 1: Fire 1 round each on T1-T2 freestyle.
             String 2: Fire 2 head shots each on T1-T2 freestyle.
             String 3: Fire 3 rounds on T1 one hand only; perform a
             tactical reload; then fire 3 rounds on T2 other hand only.
Props:       5ft T1-shirt, 5ft T2-shirt; yard-line

Name:        Ruckus from Another Room
Scoring:     best 6 of division capacity, on 1 IDPA target
Scenario:    Armed Citizen: Hearing a ruckus in a spare bedroom, you find
             a burglar in search of your guns and cash.  He smacks you on
             the head with a pair of pruning shears and goes into another
             room.  You grab a pistol from storage, still groggy from your
             head injury.
Designer:    S Tod
Type:        short, V2, 5-yd combat exercise
Procedure:   Begin with fully-loaded pistol in box.  On signal, retrieve pistol
             and empty it into T1.  (Go to slide-lock; best 6 shots score.)
Props:       5ft T1-shirt; box on barrel

Name:        Silhouette of Another
Scoring:     9 shots Limited, on 3 IDPA targets
Scenario:    Armed Citizen: Rudely awakened from your nap, you find
             two burglars in your house and see the silhouette of another.
Designer:    S Tod
Type:        short/medium, V3.5, moving/tactical exercise
Procedure:   Begin at low ready, 5 yds in front of T3.
             String 1: While retreating, fire 1 round each on T1-T3.
             String 2: While retreating, fire 2 rounds each, in tactical
             sequence.
Props:       5ft T1 w/soft cover, 4ft T2, 5ft T3-right; yard-line

Name:        Maximum Barrel
Scoring:     18 shots Vickers, on 3 IDPA targets
Scenario:    During an attack (such as the previous one), you've finally
             reached a strong covered position.
Designer:    S Tod
Type:        long, V3, Siebel variation, cover exercise
Procedure:   Begin at low ready, kneeling behind barrel, with fully-loaded
             pistol but spare mags/loaders with max. 6 rounds each.  On
             signal, fire 6 rounds each on T1-T3 from the respective
             sides/top of the barrel.  (All reloads per IDPA rules.)
Props:       barrel; 5ft T1 w/soft cover, 4ft T2, 5ft T3-right
